Figurino "Admirável Mundo Novo": Adaptação contemporânea de uma obra distópica.
My final work from college with a major in Fashion Design. (FAAP, São Paulo, Brazil) This project searchs, starting from a reflexive analysis about literary work of Aldous Huxley, create the costumes designs for an adaptation of “Brave New World” to the cinema. The book approaches a dystopian futuristic society, where people are conditioned to not question anything; they are human beings without free will and conscience, making a critique of to the instruments of domination of totalitarian regimes. This monograph explores the possibility of linking the ideas presented by the author and our social and technological context today.
